Punita is an experienced education, lifestyle, positive living, and personal growth writer* who publishes a lot of content here at PunitaChhabra.com. She also discusses her thoughts on Education, professional growth, and personal fulfillment.
Until 2012, Punita also wrote for MissCabrina, a positive living & style blog. She also guest blogged for the Android blog AndroidStatic.
Punita has published over 100 articles in online publications, including Miss Cabrina Online and PunitaChhabra.com. She has also published work in The Blake Beat (as a high school newspaper staff writer and illustrator), and she is the winner of three Maryland Scholastic Press Association Awards for Design for her work in The Blake Beat. In addition to blogging at PunitaChhabra.com (and formerly writing for MissCabrina.com), Punita worked as a Project Manager with a Digital Marketing company, and worked on the Red Bull Wings marketing team, helping with Market Invasions, and increasing outreach and product awareness.
Current Work
- During the school year, Punita spends most of her mental, physical, and emotional energy (as well as most of her time) on being the best teacher possible
- When she has the time, Punita writes at PunitaChhabra.com about Health, Fitness, Education (and Career satisfaction / Growth and Fulfillment within Educational careers), Positive Living, and Style
- Punita recently released a free “Makeup 101″ Style Guide available for free download (PDF)
- Punita completed her action research plan to study the impact of cooperative competition on student achievement outcomes this year
- Punita is also reading a lot of books this year
Want to know more about Punita? She was an avid Debater in high school (as well as Class President, and an SGA member, Fashion X (fashion/design club) member, Mock Trial Team member, Newspaper staff writer and head illustrator, and a member of the Web Staff), and has been known to break into motivational speeches from time to time.
Her favorite high school classes were AP Literature, AP Language & Composition, and AP Psychology (in that order, more or less). She has kept journals her entire life, and has always loved writing.
